Aurora Borealis, aka Northern lights... Ionizing radiation hitting our atmosphere... I can't believe how something so beautiful can be so deadly!

This is the second card I receive from Dr. Elnayef... and I have to admit, I loved this one! The stamps are so original and the fountains give much pleasure to the eye in this comming summer...

These arrived yesterday, but since I use the med school scanner to scan my cards, they had to wait till today to be "digitized". They're both very nice... The Chinese Olympics postcard I will treasure for the rest of my life, because this is a nice souveneer from an important even that is supposed to bring the whole world together (those protesting China at the moment have shown poor sportsmanship because they missed the whole point of the olympics... it is not a political event and should never become that! So why the protests?!)

Anyway... The card had a tear-away border that reveals a message so there are 4 pictures of the card....

Assafir Newspaper Cards

A couple of years ago (I think back in 2000 or 1999) Assafir newspaper celebrated it's 25th birthday and was giving out these cards at a major event that lasted the whole day in Beirut Hall - Sin El Fil. The school took us there as a "cultural field trip"

Old Postcards Unearthed....

Ths one is from Spain. My cousins sent it a long time ago from there. They still live there and back then they decided to send me this one to remind me of the place I was born in.

This one was from my english highschool teacher, Mr. Tharwat Dabaja. He went to Australia to finish off his masters degree and he sent me this card from his university...
